Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for various client projects.
- Build and integrate APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Optimize application performance to ensure stability and scalability for global users.
- Ensure code quality through thorough testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in development, staging, and production environments.
- Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices, architecture, and project workflows.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, designers, and project managers to ensure timely project delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest backend technologies and trends, continuously improving the team’s skills and processes.
- Communicate proactively with the Project Manager, Quality Control engineers, and other team members to continuously develop new features and improve project quality.
- Adjust oneself to fit and grow with the company’s core value.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience working with web-based applications.
- Strong knowledge and experience with PHP Laravel.
- Proficient in working with relational databases, especially big database processing.
- Strong working experience RESTful API.
- Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures (SQS, RabbitMQ).
- Experienced in using Git, Github, Docker.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experienced in coding with unit testing.
- Good knowledge in configuration & troubleshot web servers problems.
- Good knowledge in develop frontend application.
- Practical experience using the MVC architecture.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, Firestore or MongoDB
- Previous experience working with clients from Japan
- Experience in macroservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with other backend or frontend technologies is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent critical thinking & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to research and understand technical documentation in English
- Strong leadership skills.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with design patterns.
- Ability to quickly learn new backend programming languages to adopt the needs of the project.
- Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to manage time and multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
